In the Beginning….

We came from a family with a history of 200 years in farming. It was the farm background which prompted us to relocate from Oregon to start Classy Grass Turf, a sod farm in the Manteca area.

We chose the Northern San Joaquin Valley because the climate was conducive to growing sod year around and the housing market was favorable. We had it up and running locally from 1987 forward.

In 1993 we decided to take advantage of the other landscaping needs of our Sod customer and opened a landscape materials yard. Eden Garden Supply was born.

And Then...

We continued to expand our product line from the typical bulk materials and hardscape products to custom ordered statuary, ponds, fish, and materials for water features.

With the downturn of 2009, the sod farm operation was curtailed and we consolidated Classy Grass Turf into the office at Eden Garden Supply. While several competitors ceased business during that time, we survived.

But NOW!

We are increasing product lines into Grow Soils and complementing Sod sales with the highest quality Artificial Turf. Both are great additions and reflect the changes in society and the environment.

Being located at the “Crossroads of California,” Louise Ave and I-5 in Lathrop, we are easy to find from Tracy, Ripon, Manteca, and Stockton. Instead of bragging about our story, we’d like to have the honor of being part of YOUR story when you show off your finished Landscaping projects.
